Mental Health Awareness Month
It's Mental Health Awareness Month. As a society, we tend not to speak up about our mental health in fear of 'appearing weak' or being told to 'man up'. The very reason as to why I started Clear For Men is because I have suffered with my mental health and I never want anyone to think that they are alone with how they feel.
It's okay to not be okay. It's okay to ask for help. If you're struggling with your mental health, don't hesitate to talk to someone you trust, whether it's a friend, family member, or a professional. There's no shame in asking for help. There are so many clubs that are available and I will put the link for one at the bottom of this blog. No matter what, you and your feelings are valid.
Let's support each other. We all have our struggles, and by showing empathy and understanding, we can make a significant impact on someone's life. Reach out to a friend who's been going through a tough time, and let them know you're there for them. You never know how much a kind gesture can mean to someone who's struggling.
I hope that as a community we are able to raise awareness and put an end to the stigma that surrounds mental health. Be proud of who you are and never be afraid to reach out for help. You are never alone.
